The Fab 40s in Fringe!

September 28, 2015
Carlos Santana bag, Roxy cardigan, clogs, flared jeans. KUT jeans
If you’ve followed my blog for awhile, it will be no surprise to you that I ADORE fringe!  (Including this fringe round up last January.)
So when Ann picked fringe for our Fab 40’s theme this month, I was in my element.

California style, layering, gypsy look, gypsy style

I certainly didn’t need to do any shopping. I’ve had this fabulous fringy Carlos Santana bag for years and still love it.  Last Christmas, my husband bought me this cool Roxy crochet sweater/coat with fringe along the bottom. It’s one of my favorite pieces. I styled these two items with flared KUT jeans and 70’s inspired clogs. I also added a beautiful scarf that was a gift from my friend Sherry. And I layered three necklaces, two Lucky Brand, and one from the amazing Michal Golan. I felt very gypsy chic in this look!

This is a fabulous outfit. Your cardi looks stylish and cosy. You have styled it well with your 70's flares. I like how you've added a subtle scarf to add some colour. You look great.

I absolutely love your cardigan! I need one for myself (except I recently counted the cardigans, vests, and kimonos in my closet and the number is very close to 100. Yikes! Can you say shopping problem?)

Dawn Lucy, I can't decide what I like the best–the fringy cardigan, the super bag, those rockin' jeans, or the amazing clogs. Put it all together and it's fantabulistic. (Yes, that's a made up work that I love!) Like you, I had plenty of fringing items in my closet to choose from. I do love FRINGE and have for a while now.

Awesome! Love, Ann from Kremb de la Kremb

Dawn, Love it. I'm totally feeling the 70's feel. At first I thought it was a shawl. However, when I visited you site I realized it was long coat. Fell even more in love then. It's the perfect fringe for the bell bottoms….xo
