The Fab 40’s in Holiday Looks!

November 30, 2015

The Fab 40’s gals are getting into the holiday spirit with this month’s theme!

I decided to try to pull together a classy holiday look with just what I already had in my closet.

It’s not too glam, but it might be the perfect look for a work party or dinner at the in-laws.

I wanted to add a bit of edge, so used my moto jacket and studded clutch.  I think the moto totally works, but not sure about the bag.

Loving the way the half-knot trend shows off my bling-y earrings.

I'll say it again, Dawn, you managed to turn something so, for lack of a better expression, day into a completely luxe and glam outfit!! The colours, the fabric choices, the little touches of sparkle. Lovely!!

p/s I'll let you in on a secret. The curls were a last minute bid to put some life back into 2-day old post-gym hair. It looked flat and dreadful. Enter the curling wand. Thank the hair gods.

That studded clutch is a great finishing touch to a sophisticated, lady-like look with that fun edge. Very timeless meets modern. You carry it off so well. Gorgeous!
