I love a day trip. You get to be somewhere else and explore, but you don’t have to pack or find a dog sitter! Sometimes it’s challenge to figure out what to wear. I want to look good, be comfortable, and be ready for anything!
Last weekend we took a drive to Big Sur to celebrate the hubby’s birthday. The weather was perfect and the view was amazing. I wore my new bell sleeve sweater and delicate beaded choker, along with my fav leopard booties and distressed black jeans!
For any day trip, I’d suggest always taking along an extra pair of shoes, a sun hat, as well as some sunscreen!
And if you’re planning a visit to Big Sur, I’d suggest going to the Nepenthe Restaurant for a casual meal and beautiful view, and then you have to check out the amazing art right across the street at the Hawthorne Gallery.
This outfit ended up being just perfect. I’m loving my latest two purchases from Nordstrom, the Sun and Shadow Bell Sleeve Tunic Sweater (oversized, cozy, stylish, comes in two pretty fall colors as well as black) … and the Carole beaded choker (trendy, affordable, but still looks classy).
