Every month the Fab 40’s take on a trend and this month we’re all rocking pleats!
This theme was a challenge for many of us, but that’s half the fun. I decided I needed something new and I found this unusual pleated PU leather skirt. Kinda different and fun, right?
I planned to wear another top, but I found when you’re working with a pleated skirt, you have to be very careful with the top. It has to be form fitting and stop right at the waist to balance out the voluminous skirt!
And shopping tip: pleats can add a couple of pounds, so balance that out with something. Here I think the black really makes a difference.

Your black pleated skirt is such a modern and trendy take on pleats! You are not kidding about having to be careful with what top you pair with pleats. whew… Your cropped top with the lace sleeves was a fab choice. I am seriously dying over your Stop and Stare hose.
