What the Heck’s a Ruana?

December 14, 2016

Lately you’ve probably heard the word “RUANA” being used online and in stores.  Do not be afraid! It’s just another name for a poncho or cape style garment, specifically the type worn in the Andes mountain regions of South America (at least that’s what it said on wiki).

Isn’t this one from Coldwater Creek cool? Reversible too!  I had fun getting my south-western boho-rific vibe on for this look.

That is the best thing about these pieces—no sizes to worry about!
And that’s so cool that it’s reversible!

Love this! It’s like wearing a little blankie but more, um, fashion forward. Hahaha. Excellent. The colour is wake-me-up fresh and the fringes with your fringed bag are great together.
