Hello dear friends and readers! I’m back from my trip to Amsterdam with lots of fun stuff to share.
Let’s start the coverage on my Amsterdam trip with some fun street style! My buddy Rachel and I always snap and share street style pics with each other wherever we go. It’s so fun that I wanted to share with my readers. So let’s pretend we’re at a cute cafe together, grab a cup of coffee, and let’s see what they’re wearing right now on the streets of Amsterdam.
I spotted these two beauties on the nine streets (de negen straatjes), a chic little shopping area in Amsterdam and the perfect place to catch some street style … and lucky me, two fab outfits in one shot!
Midi Skirt with Sneakers
I loved this cute wearable look … striped midi skirt, with a simple tee, crossbody bag, and sneakers. Pratical, comfortable, and easy to replicate.
A fun twist on the classic cardigan?! What do you think?
Baker Boy Hats
This Dutch beauty is rocking her cute cap.
This lady looks pulled together and chic in a striped shirtdress with comfortable sandals. Her friend also looks nice and cool in all white.
Green and Pink Floral Dress
This breezy beauty is stylishly walking her baby through the street with all the designer shops.
Emerald Green, White Lace
On a boat ride through the canals, I spotted this posh looking little gathering.
Mother of Dragons
At the Rijksmuseum, I spotted this sassy street style look. Love the orange and white dragon tee, the oversized olive blazer, the gray jeans, the camo sneakers, and even the half-do top knot! I’m getting strong Daenerys Targaryen vibe … am I right, Game of Thrones fans?
I found this cute rainbow chick drinking coffee.
This pretty girl looked fresh and cool in palazzo pants and a tank.
Loving these hippie chicks hanging out along the canal in their floral boho dresses and fun braids.
I’ll have much more to share soon, including a round up on how my travel wardrobe held up through my adventures! And a shout out to those of you who followed my adventures on Instagram. Loved getting your sweet comments every day!
Truly looking forward to catching up with everyone and seeing what all of you have been doing … and of course wearing!
Fun & Fashion,
An InLinkz Link-up
Gosh, I love people watching so much!! I think that’s the one thing that Instagram has taken from me—many times I’m too busy on IG instead of looking at all of the fun people!!
Thanks for sharing, Dawn!!
I’m such a people watcher! And well hey, we’re people watching on IG too, right?! 😀
Oh love the street style pics, you snapped some very stylish people! 🙂
Thank you for the link up!
Hope that you are having a great week so far 🙂 I’ve managed to catch my first winter bug (only 2 weeks into winter, ha!) So it’s a low key one here!
Away From The Blue Blog
Aww hope you get better soon, Mica! I’m so jet-lagged still. I was fine when I got there, but getting adjusted back home has been tough for some reason!
Great Post! Fun seeing all the fashion! Thanks for sharing!
Have a great day and thanks for the link-up!
What a great post! I love this idea, and feel I’ve been in the café, watching with you! I might try this idea out, as I’ve often been tempted. Thanks for hosting and sharing. Jacqui Mummabstylish
It’s so fun! Since I’ve started doing this, I’m getting more and more addicted to it. I’d love to see your snaps!
What a great trip and all that fashion inspiration! I love it! Everyone seems so stylish, that is definitely not the case here in Orlando!
Well, there were plenty of badly dressed tourists in Amsterdam too! ;D
I love street style pics!!
I love streetstyles! Loved this post, of course also because it is Amsterdam!???
Yay, Amsterdam!!! OXOX
Great fun people watching with you! xx
I love this! First of all, you’re in Amsterdam! Secondly, their styles are so fun. Now I must know…how do you get these fabulous pics of them without them being aware? I see looks that I’d love to capture but I’m too chicken.
Well, it is a big compliment right? 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by & commenting!
Love all the street style here! Would love to visit Amsterdam. Thanks for the link up!
I’m glad you had a wonderful time in Amsterdam!
I enjoyed seeing all the fashionistas on the streets!
Amsterdam is one of my favorite cities!
Weren’t the canals fantastic!
Yes, the canals are so pretty and romantic! OXOX
I love this! I so often want to snap someone’s photo when they’re wearing a cute outfit but worry about privacy issues. They really dress up in Amsterdam! Love all these looks. I also noticed a priority placed on comfortable footwear!
Yay for comfy feet! My understanding is that in a public place (that’s not a bathroom or dressing room) that it’s okay to shoot photos. But just to be safe, I did go back and blur faces!
Great shots Dawn! I love the green floral dress…everyone looks so effortlessly cool!
Agreed! And yes, I tried to find that exact dress but couldn’t! If you see it anywhere, let me know! 😀
I loved seeing all of your vacation photos on Instagram—Amsterdam is such a beautiful, unique city. And I especially love people-watching on vacation. It’s cool to see so many trends are global!

Right? I think fashion used to be more specific to location, but with all the social media, everything is more global.
What a fun post!
I loved seeing all your IG posts and stories from Amsterdam. Looks like you guys had a great time!
Thanks for the link up & Happy Weekend!
So nice to get away and reconnect! 😀
Heck yes to the Mother of Dragons look and the backwards sweater! Such a fun way to document your vacation!
Now on closer inspection I wonder if that was actually a snake on her tee? Oh well, we see what we want to see!! 😀
I like this post 😉 I did a little bit the same while in Amsterdam but more looking at heels 😉 Have a great weekend xx
I was surprised … and impressed … with the women riding their bikes in heels!!!
What a great post, love all the street style! People watching is one of my favorite activities, love to see how creative people are!
Yes! I would love to sit at a cafe with you and style watch some day! 😀
I’ve always wanted to go to Amsterdam. It’s on my bucket list.
I’m glad you blurred the faces of the street scene people. They were so intrusive before, I felt bad for the women!
In every single case I meant it only as the most sincere compliment. But someone else pointed this out too and I understand and was more than willing to blur faces. I hope you get to go to Amsterdam soon!
[…] And don’t miss my street style snaps! […]
