Of course I’m not sure how convincing I am at being SO cold holding an iced latte! Let’s just call this “California cold” ….
Having some time off right now, the hubby and I are doing lots of casual days. We love starting our day off going to our little neighborhood “downtown” for some coffee and breakfast.
I’m So Freakin’ Cold
I love a silly graphic tee or sweatshirt for a casual look with a little bit of a fun edge. However contrary to the saying, the hoodie isn’t very thick and warm. But it is just right for some California layering. (Graphic Tee c/o Shein)
Casual Basics
I pretty much piled on all my fav basics here! I’m wearing Old Navy Curvy Fit Jeans (I know I know … I wear them A LOT!). Also these quilted sneakers from Steve Madden are a super comfy casual shoe. This quilted vest is a wardrobe staple … always perfect for just a little extra warmth and to add a little extra depth to the look. My favorite Illesteva sunnies, small silver hoops and my go-to leather tote finish up the outfit.

LOL! Yes, we in CA, especially SoCal are sooooo cold! Suffering in the 70’s in my area. But hey, someone has to do it! Wearing a vest over a long sleeved top does help us remember that it is winter, after all. 😉 Cute outfit for a nice casual day, by the way.
Oh that is SUCH a fun hoodie! I think I need it, ha! It doesn’t get really cold here at winter (we don’t get snow) but I still find it cold, this would be perfect for Brisbane winter I think!

Well, the fashion week sure is a great thing to look forward too! I went on my bike yesterday, I almost cried of the pain in my feet and hands because it was sooooo cold!

Very cute and fun! I remember when I lived in Az after living in Northern Missouri my whole life and I would see someone wearing hats and scarves and gloves in the winter. It was so cute!

Such a cute outfit; I must get that sweatshirt for myself since I say that all the time! Though living in New England it might not be thick enough for me.
Dawn Lucy, it is adorable! And while you may not be so freaking cold to the extent that I am so freaking cold, it still is a fantastic outfit. I may need this sweatshirt myself…combine the crazy cold we have in northern NY with all my insane perimenopausal hot and cold flashes…and this is the perfect piece!
