Chambray Shirt, Floral Midi, Snake Booties

Dressing up for … nothing at all.  But some days it really lifts my spirits and that’s hey, that’s not nothing!

I was super excited when I found this Topshop skirt (currently on sale) since black and white goes with everything in my wardrobe, and I loved the length, and the fact that there was no slit.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m not totally against the slit, but I find a lot of cute midi skirts have such a high and revealing slit!  But anyway, this one was perfect and I was looking forward to wearing it for teaching, for weekends, and for date nights as well.   Of course, all plans changed with the Covid crisis and I haven’t worn the skirt as much as I had planned. But I still love it and am still looking for reasons to wear it. And I’m looking forward to wearing it in the summer and into the fall!

I had planned other footwear with this look, but I loved the snake booties with the floral skirt.  I feel like the snake added a bit of edge to the look, which is something I always love.  And every wardrobe needs a chambray shirt, and probably both a short sleeve and a long sleeve one. What do you think?
