Dan Liu at NYFW

The Dan Liu show at New York Fashion Week reminded me of Paris in the springtime!  (Not that I’ve ever been to Paris in the spring … once in summer … but we can imagine, right?)

 

 

The atmosphere was set with French music and attendees holding fresh flowers.  The dresses were soft, feminine, charming … and wearable!

Dan Liu is a Chinese-Japanese Canadian fashion designer, designing apparel and accessories for men and women. He is the founder and creative director of the TATSUAKI fashion label, along with the Dan Liu line, of course.

I also read that Liu did a reality make over show in Japan called Fashion Girls and it’s been compared to What Not To Wear.  Has anyone seen it?  I’m going to try to dig it up on YouTube or something.  As long as I can get a version with subtitles!  I ADORE a good makeover show!
