Double Red Leopard

January 22, 2020

Animal print seems to be the trend that just won’t quit.  Want to joo-sh up your leopard game? How about some colored leopard? Want even more impact? Double the colored leopard!!

red leopard trend, a line leopard midi skirt

This exact skirt is still available at Nordstrom Rack for only $30. I love it, but I do wish the slit was not so high.  If you’re between sizes, size up!  And I’ve found some other fabulous ones as well:

By the way, an A-line midi skirt is universally flattering and 100% pear shape approved!  Wear it with a a sweater, tights and boots now, and sandals and a blouse or tee when it warms up.

A moto jacket and a black turtleneck are wardrobe staples for me.  I wear them all the time! Do you have these pieces in your closet? How often do you wear them?

That’s about all out of me today, Friends. I’m really trying to shop less and shop my closet more, showing more wardrobe basics that you can mix and match and wear again and again.  The “more is more” era is coming to a close and it seems the fashion tides are shifting.  We’re heading into the period of the capsule wardrobe!  Would you like to see me do more capsule wardrobe posts on the blog?  Let me know in the comments!

Also on the blog lately, an update on my gray hair transition (the good, bad, and awkward) as well as a peek at a trend that is getting a lot of mixed reactions!
