Easy Way to Update your Summer Outfit: Neon Tees

Need an easy, fun, and inexpensive way to add a little pop to your summer outfits? How about a neon t-shirt? 

 

   

I found this simple v-neck tee on sale at Gap and bought it in Lime Green and Hot Magenta.  I was a little disappointed that the colors didn’t pop as much in the photos as I think they do in person. 

I paired the tees with some classic basics that I think almost every wardrobe has: black pants, flat slides, and a denim jacket.  Also added a leopard belt for another bit of interest.  I thought that would make a nice casual work outfit. I would totally wear this for a day of teaching.

Then I put the pink tee with some raw edge cropped jeans, wedge sandals, and a fun summer tote for a casual weekend look.

A simple way to add a trend without a big investment, right?  What have you added to your summer wardrobe lately?
