I can’t stop gushing about how much I love fall. Here in California, we usually have to wait until mid-October for any sign of actually fall weather, but we got teased with some last week and I’m so ready and excited!
Even though it’s my favorite season, ironically I don’t look that good in a lot of fall colors. I’m more of a cooler tone. But I can’t help but think my gamble paid off with this “Currant” color turtleneck from Everlane. Loving this color for me, if I do say so myself!
This is going to be my go-to turtleneck this fall and winter. Made of 85% extra fine Merino wool (with 18% nylon, 2% elastane) it’s super warm and soft. It comes in beautiful neutrals like Bone, Black, and Heathered Charcoal. I also like the Cinnamon color, and LOVE this orange shade called Currant! I’m wearing a Medium for a comfortable fit, so I’d say it’s pretty true to size. It’s suggested to hand wash and dry flat or dry clean.
The Tapered Day Glove
You all know I’m the queen of comfortable footwear, so I had to try out this Everlane Tapered Day Glove. Made of buttery soft leather in Italy, these shoes absolutely do fit like a glove. My feet stay comfortable all day with a cushioned insoles and side vents for breathability. The tapered square top and center seam add a modern touch. True to size, and available in Cavern Pink, Black, White, Tumbleweed and Dark Forest.

You can read the full review, but I’ve give you the basics. The high-waisted look is very trendy right now and this pair is made just for curvy bottoms. The adjusted hip-to-waist ratio and strategically placed pockets are sure to fit and flatter!
What is your favorite part of the season? I love boots and sweaters, jackets and coats, and darker shades like plum and deep green. I’m not that into Pumpkin Spice lattes, but I sure do love pumpkin bread, pumpkin scones, pumpkin muffins, and pumpkin pie! I love chilly night with a cozy fire and a spooky movie!
