Flattering Pants – Chico’s So Slimming Trousers

October 15, 2018

Chico’s So Slimming Trousers will make you look and feel like a million bucks!

Chico’s has just been killing it in the slimming pants and jeans market … I may never need to buy pants anywhere else again!

This post is a collaboration with Chico’s, which my readers already know I adore.

Shopping for flattering pants has always been an issue for me.  I can wear pretty much any top, but getting pants to fit right is so much trickier.  Chico’s came to the rescue with a whole line of So Slimming pants and jeans, along with their fabulous new capsule collection with NYDJs!

So Slimming Trousers

This time around I’ve got the spotlight on the So Slimming Trousers, a sophisticated full-length, boot-cut pant.  The all-season fabric has just the right amount of stretch to fit and flatter.  The hidden tummy control smooths any midlife bulge. Available in black, midnight, and gray, you can fill your closet with wardrobe staple neutrals.  Or feeling extra bold?  Try the trousers in of-the-moment plaid!  I’m wearing the tall length, and at 5’7″ the length works on me with high heels.  No matter what your size or height, Chico’s got you covered with size 000-4 (0-22) and petite, regular and tall lengths.

Dot Mix Shirt

Polka dots are so in right now and I’m loving this lightweight textured cotton shirt with a mixed dot print.

Black and White Drop Earrings

I thought these smart little drops would be the perfect compliment to the mixed dot shirt.

Round Leopard Print Sunglasses

I asked for these sunglasses as an after thought and now I’ve been wearing them non-stop.  Leopard?  Yesssss … of course!  With fun gold chain accents on the side, they’re funky and fun.  With all the UV protection, they’re a quality pair with an affordable price tag.

I added in some sassy red patent leather heels and my clutch is a souvenir from my Amsterdam trip.

    Hi Dawn,
You look so good! Love the pants, and the polka dot shirt even more. Which, since you asked, is my most difficult item to fit. It’s hard for me to find shirts and blouses that don’t gape at the buttons over my bust. I need to try them on, and usually need to size up. But then the sleeves are often too long. So I wear knit tees and sweater type tops, or blouses that don’t button in the front. Ah, the trials of trying to look fashionable…?
    Xo Heidi
That looks like the beach in front of the boardwalk, wasn’t it a gorgeous weekend?
