This guy in the red sweatshirt doesn’t look too impressed, but I’m loving my outfit here!

This is what I wore for a birthday lunch with my sweet and chic friend, Rachel! I wore my cool Ruti skirt (gifted), which always makes me feel fabulous. I added a turtleneck this time and a moto jacket that I haven’t worn in ages. With my Doc Marten boots along for the ride as well, I felt like an edgy cool girl. Statement earrings are Kendra Scott (gifted).
Loving Rachel’s outfit here as well! Doesn’t she still look fab in a mini skirt? Love the blue tights with the shades of rust. And of course that YSL bag is amazing. It’s reversible too!
We had lunch at King’s Fish House at Valley Fair in San Jose and afterwards, we poked our heads into a couple of designer shops, like Versace and Saint Laurent. We always have the best time together!
Also on the blog lately, an outfit with a camel coat, striped top, and caramel heels!
Also we’re talking about what haven’t you worn yet this winter in this post!

About the blog: Fashion Should Be Fun is ME talking to YOU, other middle-aged women who are over 40, but not over fashion. We still want to look beautiful and stylish. We still want to have fun with trends. And we don’t need anyone giving us rules, because we’re all different. This is a place for me to share my love of fashion with you, including style ideas, tips, trends, and inspiration. I know how liking the way we look can translate into confidence and energy. I know we have so much life left to live and so much adventure ahead of us. Let’s show the world you’re never too old to have fun and be fierce.

Aww thanks so much, Pam!
Nice looks, both of you… I’m always partial to an all-black look like yours and love the skirt. I’m an old punk too and love your site for inspiration. I refuse to dress like my grandmother… Gen X is the punk generation and I’ll always be true to my roots. XOXO
Love your attitude Pauline!! OXOX
