Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my birthday.  Fifty four years old … and wow, I’m still LOVING this crazy journey called life!

I just had to pull out one of my favorite pieces in my closet to celebrate.  If you’ve been around here for awhile, you might remember this Monse jacket from New York Fashion Week in September, 2018. I wore it to a fabulous rooftop soiree and for a fun rock star moment! It’s one of those pieces that doesn’t get to come out and play too much often, but when it does, it never fails to make me feel amazing!

Birthdays are the time to reflect on getting older, and I for one, am sure enjoying the journey.  Oh sure, my skin and body parts aren’t looking the same, but there’s so much that’s WAY better as I age. I’m more myself that I’ve ever been.  I care less what anyone thinks and I’m just …me!  As I get older, I also get really clear on what’s truly important to me.  And I learn more and more every day how to enjoy the ride, enjoy the moments, and enjoy the right now.

So, here’s to another trip around the sun!  Hoping for many more … and many more years of sharing it all with my dear readers!
