For a weekend trip to Santana Row (shopping & restaurant area in San Jose), I REALLY wanted to wear my new suede boots. The weather wasn’t quite cooperating though, so the rest of my outfit needed to be really light and simple.

As time goes by, I feel like my style is getting more minimalistic and I’m liking it! My new Inez boots were the hero piece in this look, and I kept everything else very simple. I’m wearing my Quince Bella Relaxed Jeans (highly recommend, true to size, so affordable, and stretchy too)! Also a Rag and Bone tank that I’ve had for years and it never fades or looks old. Also my classic black leather tote, Kendra Scott jewelry, and my Warby Parker prescription sunglasses that I get so many compliments on.
One reason I was at Santana Row was to visit the Warby Parker store and pick out some new prescription glasses. It’s out of network for my vision insurance, so I had to go through the hassle of doing a claim, but …what can I say? I’m a big Warby Parker fan! I love their style, service, and quality. And no, this isn’t sponsored, but if you’re reading this Warby Parker, and you want to sponsor me, let me know! 😉
Also on the blog lately, a full review of my Inez Caro boots and some new teacher outfits.

About the blog: Fashion Should Be Fun is me talking to you, other middle aged women like me who are over 40, but not over fashion. We still want to look beautiful and stylish. We still want to have fun with trends. And we don’t need anyone giving us rules, because we’re all different. We all have our own shapes and bodies, parts we’d like to cover and parts we still don’t mind showing off a bit. This is a place for me to share my love of fashion with you, style ideas, tips, trends, and inspiration. I know how liking the way we look can translate into confidence and energy. I know we have so much life left to live and so much adventure ahead of us. Let’s show the world you’re never too old to have fun and be fierce!
