Making Space with EILEEN FISHER

December 19, 2018

EILEEN FISHER is encouraging us all to make space this holiday season for the things that are the most important to us. In the rush of it all, isn’t it easy to forget the very reason we want the season to be wonderful in the first place?

Making space with Eileen Fisher

This post is a sponsored collaboration with EILEEN FISHER. All thoughts and opinions are completely my own.

EILEEN FISHER is a brand that I’ve always respected for keeping their priorities straight. The brand was started by the interior designer, Eileen Fisher, with an eye to making high-quality clothing with effortless style.  Along with impeccable design, EILEEN FISHER makes sure that every item is made with thought to the impact on the environment, as well as the social impact.  It’s a brand you can always feel good about supporting.

What I’m wearing …

Handknit Peruvian Alpaca Scarf

This exquisite scarf, made from alpaca herds high in the Andes, is fair trade and created in community-based workshops in Peru.  This garment is Responsible by Design, which means it meets the highest standard for environmental and social impact.  I picked this versatile Soft White neutral, but the scarf also comes in a yummy rose shade called Cherry Lane and a sunny mustard yellow called Sumer.  Wrap yourself in soft chunky knit warmth this winter!

Organic Cotton Fluff Tunic

This versatile tunic is created for pure softness and comfort.  A stretchy boucle yarn is tightly knit for a super soft texture and the scoop neck and dropped shoulders echo that nonchalant ease. Like the Handknit Peruvian Alpaca Scarf, this item is Responsible by Design.  This is just the type of luxe basic that I’ll wear over and over again.

An EILEEN FISHER item might be just the last minute gift you’re looking for.  The quality and the spirit behind the brand means that it’s something you can feel really good about giving.  It also would be a really nice treat to give yourself.  After the hustle and bustle of the season, wouldn’t it be nice to reward yourself with something super special?

Just a few of my favorite pieces available right now …

What do you want to be sure to make space for this holiday season?  For me I want to make sure I slow down enough to have moments of peace and joy with my husband and my furbabies, along with some quality time to myself, to just curl up with a good book and cup of hot cocoa.  Share what you’ll be making space for this season in the comments!

Dawn Lucy

Love to see this beautiful sustainable fashion. The alpaca scarf is heavenly and I bet it is warm!
My conscience won’t let me buy fast fashion any more.
