Spring Trends 2018 – Patterns

January 28, 2018

It’s time to start thinking about our spring wardrobes, and every closet needs some pattern!

Here’s my list of the most on trend patterns of spring 2018!

on trend patterns for spring 2018

Can you believe I went through a brief solids-only phase in my mid-twenties?  I know … how boring. Now, I love to play with prints and patterns.

SPRING 2018 PATTERN TRENDS

Check/Plaid

Checks, plaid, gingham … I’m sure you’ve been seeing this print everywhere.

Stars

Baby, you’re star!  Now show the world you know it!

Florals

Every time I hear someone mention spring florals, in my head I hear Miranda Priestly (The Devil Wears Prada) saying sarcastically “Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.”  Groundbreaking or not, they are back for spring!  This season the florals are big and bold, tropical, retro-inspired, and mixed with other florals.

Polka Dots

Small, large, black and white or bold colors … polka dots are in for spring!

Stripes

Stripes never go out of style, and this year along with the classics, look for bold and bright rainbow stripes!

Artsy

Looking for something new in the print department? How about trying a new artsy print this spring?  Think modern art!

What patterns are you thinking of adding to your wardrobes this spring?  I ordered a fun rainbow stripe sweater from ASOS. It just sold out, but here’s soooo many other cute ones.  I also have some fun star prints to show you soon.  Of course I think I need a check blazer, right? On top of that, I pretty much want every single thing I linked here.  Hee!

And in case you missed it, here’s a look at the big color trend of the year.

Have a fab start to your week, Dolls.

And remember, New York Fashion Week is just around the corner. Please let me know what kind of coverage you enjoy the most.  And be sure to sign up for my free weekly newsletter with extra content and behind-the-scenes action.

I love prints and patterns since they make getting dressed so much easier. I probably have stripes pattern the most in my closet and what do you know I want that bright sweater from F21. Go figure! But how exciting that NYFW is almost here. Looking forward to it!
