Sundress, Plaid Blazer, Boots

April 18, 2023

Lately, I’ve been trying hard to make more thoughtful purchases and to wear pieces several ways.  This sundress that I’ve shared before can be styled so many ways that it’s become way more than just a resort dress in my wardrobe.

Here, I styled the dress with my favorite plaid blazer and snake boots (similar).  It’s a lot of pattern and texture in one outfit, but because it’s all neutral tones, I think it really works. With a cami underneath the V-neck, I think this could be even a cute work look. I added my favorite Strathberry bag and some beautiful spring pieces from Kendra Scott.

What I love about the dress: soft jersey knit, wrinkle-free, machine wash (cold), very flattering empire waistline!

It’s been a bit chilly here in California this spring, so I would definitely wear this right now.  It will be a cute summer to fall transitional look as well.

Also on the blog lately, I hope you caught my review of Alembika, my new obsession!

Hello pretty lady! Im so with you on the denim skirt, i love them, but they currently are not made for every body. I just consigned a beautiful Wash Lab midi that was gorgeous and everything id want in a skirt, but the waist band and rise were all off and every time I would wear it, I would fuss with it, and be irritated. So now I’m on the lookout for one that is cut for my body. Which is a lower rise, fit it in the hip, which is pretty hard to find. And I can imagine with a pair shape it’s hard to find as well. the denim folks need to get on this, and not just make denim skirts for one body type. I do love that black skirt on you though, that’s something I’ve been looking for, so I’m going to check it out. Fun post!
