I really tried to get a good family photo for the blog post today, but between two wiggly dogs and the Mr. I-Hate-Photos hubby, I couldn’t get anything usable. Sigh. (I will send a bad photo out via my behind the scenes newsletter though … if you haven’t already, sign up. I know, I know … not like you can’t wait to see my bad pics!)
But thankfully you don’t come here for cute family photos, you come here for outfit ideas, and that I have. Take your holiday velvet and maybe some faux fur and channel your inner glam rock star for a fun post-Xmas look. I added a chunky silver jewelry and my pink sunglasses for an extra punch. The raw edgy jeans and suede booties brings the look a little more down-to-earth and wearable. If it’s still a little too extra for you, just try to subtract one or two elements. I think the jeans with the velvet and some silver chunky jewelry alone would be fabulous!

April 17, 2018Are you in the Coachella or Nochella camp? I absolutely love following along on social media and seeing what everyone is wearing! I had a friend ask me, are we too old for Coachella? I don’t know about that. I refuse to believe I’m too old for much! But that being said, this is one “fashion” event that so far I’ve just enjoyed from my couch.
Okay, so what does any of that have to do with this look? I can’t help but think that a weekend of browsing Coachella street style snaps might have influenced my styling a bit!
