Modeling for Ruti

If you’ve been around here awhile, you might remember several of my Ruti outfits. I LOVE this designer because her vision is that clothes must be cool, flattering, and practical. A closet full of cool, flattering, and practical pieces is my DREAM wardrobe!

Well, I got to model for Ruti recently and I was so excited! Seriously, I wanted to take home almost every single outfit!

Side note: What? Me, model? At 56? And quite a few pounds over my … umm …. “fighting” weight!? I really respect that Ruti wants her clothing to be seen on real women with relatable bodies!

Banana Republic for the Summer to Fall Transition!

Did you know that Hot Girl Summer is being followed by Horse Girl Fall this year?!! That’s what I’ve heard the Equestrian trend called and I think it’s so cute. So when Banana Republic asked me to pick out a couple of pieces, I had to choose this well-made riding vest, along with an absolutely dreamy ruffled skirt!

To be perfectly honest, I didn’t choose these two pieces to go together. I pictured the skirt with a tie-waist white blouse and the vest with a turtleneck, jeans, and riding boots! But … I couldn’t help but try them together and I love how this look turned out!
