This is a special Fab 40’s post for me. This will be the end of my 40’s! I can’t believe it. Next month, I’ll be turning that magic special number 50! Expect a whole post (or ten) about that, but today it’s all about goodbye to my 40’s.
And this month the Fab 40’s picked boho for a theme. I couldn’t be happier about that! I think it’s the perfect swan song for me.
I found this adorable vintage floral handbag at an antique market in Monterey. I fell in love with it right away. I love when something vintage echoes something so on trend … in this case, florals!
Here’s just a few of my favs from last week’s link up …
(you fab dolls make it soooo hard to only pick a few!)
Here’s Katie of Hello Katie Girl looking springy in this pretty abstract floral skirt, with a striped top and denim jacket.
Mica of Away from the Blue has been enjoying beautiful weather for awhile now in Australia. How cute and chic is she in shorts with a kimono and statement necklace?
And Pam of Over 50 Feeling 40 is the picture of classy chic in this leopard coat and red bag!
Thanks for all the gorgeous looks you shared last week. Here’s to another great link up! Link away, link back, and have fun!
It’s a great time of year to buy winter clothes on sale! And it’s still cool enough to wear them!
I had been looking for a plaid flannel shirt with some burgundy all fall and winter and finally discovered this cute peach and burgundy check shirt on sale at Old Navy.
I even found a cute sweater to match for cold morning layers.
Do you love the cool look of pattern mixing but aren’t sure if you’re doing it right or you just don’t have the time to bother with it? This top is the perfect solution! The patterns are pre-mixed! Stripes on the front with a leopard herringbone pattern on the back. Love this! Of course like most style bloggers, I’m happy to mix patterns on my own, but I still love this top!
And hey, I finally found some boyfriend jeans I really like.
Yay Old Navy!

With President’s Day just around the corner and the Pats winning the Superbowl, I decided it was time to pull out my cute patriotic sweater from Mod Cloth! Oh and of course, it has hearts for Valentine’s Day too!
And you all know I enjoy throwing some plaid into the mix these days!

I shopped my own closet and this is what I came up with. I was really happy with the classic color combination and the easy sophistication of the outfit. I’ve been wanting to try my knee-high boots with my cropped pants and was happy to find they looked quite cute together (though it’s a bit hard to tell in the photos).
