We’re finally getting a bit of fall weather here in San Jose, off and on anyway! I was excited to pull out some fall favorites and play with rich fall colors and textures in this outfit for a morning coffee with my buddy Lynn and a day of teaching.
Today I’m 57! What a trip! The years fly by, don’t they? And I’ve had my burdens, but mostly I’ve had an amazing journey so far! And I’m truly looking forward to what comes next!

Cardigans aren’t usually hero pieces. They don’t catch our eye and let’s face it, they’re not too sexy! BUT, I love cardigans and wear them ALL the time! They are cozy, comfortable, and an easy way to layer. I was looking for some wardrobe staple cardigans to put on my Santa list and thought you might enjoy taking a look as well.
