Winter Everlane Outfit

November 19, 2020

It’s finally looking and feeling like fall in California!  And even though it will be a quiet Thanksgiving, I’m still looking forward to it.  Actually, I’m especially looking forward to it!  It will be just the hubby and me and a smoked turkey we ordered.  And of course I’ll still want to wear something cute and cozy. I have three new pieces from Everlane that I’m LOVING and planning to wear for the special day (and many days after as well).

Everlane style, sustainable style, style over 50

Remember Everlane is always a place you can feel really good about shopping.  Everlane is an industry leader in being eco-friendly and responsible!

The Oversized Alpaca Cardigan

Feeling so cozy and luxe in this oversized alpaca cardigan.  This sweater is 58% Alpaca, 34% Nylon, and 8% Wool. Available in Heathered Black, Heathered Stone, and this yummy Rosewood shade (I think they should have called it Pumpkin Pie!)  And as everything Everlane, this item was ethically sourced and Everlane made sure the animals were treated humanely.  Order your regular size for an oversized look (I’m wearing a Medium) and size down if you prefer a more fitted look.

Wouldn’t this cardigan sweater make a wonderful gift?

The Curvy Cheeky Straight Jean

I now have Everlane’s Curvy Cheeky jeans in THREE colors!  Enough said, right?!  True to size, I’m wearing size 29 in the Washed Black.  It’s the perfect of-the-moment jean, with a high waist and straight leg.  I’m all about the curvy version, but they have a non-curvy version as well!

The Pima Micro-Rib Turtleneck

Fabulous basic, sustainably made!  Wear alone or layer under vests and sweaters.  Available in five colors.  I’m wearing a Medium, so true to size, though if you’re between sizes, I’d size up rather than down.

Everlane review

Tell me your Thanksgiving plans if you feel like sharing. What food do you look forward to the most?  I have a sweet tooth, so it’s definitely the pumpkin pie for me!

    Hi Dawn,
I love that long sweater/cardigan, such a pretty color! You always pick the best pieces!
There will be only 5 of us at dinner, I shopped today and got everything I need to cook a big dinner. I couldn’t decide between a turkey and game hens so I got both. Nothing will go to waste, I’ll decide next Wednesday which to cook!
I have a lot of my holiday shopping done. Spending way to much time online. Boxes arrive almost every day. That part is fun. My holiday shopping philosophy: one for you, two for me! So I have a few goodies stashed away for when we can safely venture out again.
Hope you and Shannon have a great Thanksgiving !
    XO Heidi
