Do you have a go-to look that you reach for again and again? For me that has to be bootcut jeans with a black turtleneck sweater. I think it’s flattering on me and it’s warm. It pretty much goes anywhere!

It’s been a rough start to the year and fashion has really been on the back burner for me. The Omicron surge has hit the Bay Area and it’s hitting our school hard. My husband and I are home sick right now with Covid. Yes, we are vaccinated and boosted, but we are still sick. It’s not fun, but I’m just grateful that it’s not worse. My go-to look right this moment is sweats and PJs, but hopefully soon I’ve be wearing some real clothes again!

Chico’s High Waist Bootcut Jeans
These jeans are flattering, stretchy, and comfortable.
My only complaint about this jean is that I didn’t get my size quite right. I hadn’t ordered Chico’s jeans for awhile and so I went strictly by their size chart which suggested a size 1.5 (10). I think a size 1 (8) would’ve been just perfect, so I suggest sizing down one size.
The turtleneck is Chico’s too and both the sweater and the jeans (and so many other things!) are on sale right now! (Chico’s pieces are gifted.)
Lucky Brand Sweet Boot
Loving these classic midrise bootcut jeans from Lucky. They’re super soft and stretchy (my fav), so I’ll be wearing these all the time. I’m wearing a size 8. They were a present from the hubby, along with the Dr. Marten boots … another new favorite!
