Maxi Love & Other Mid-April Looks

Hello fashion dolls! I’ve been a busy little teacher lately. This post is a pot luck of looks from the last week or so. Starting with some maxi skirt love ….

Same skirt as the skirt in this post. But I added my orange Old Navy jean jacket for a pop of color! And sandals for the nice warm weather that we’re having in Cali right now.

And introducing my work bestie, Lynn, showing her adorable maxi skirt look!

Teachers really need Starbucks before work.

Love the coral top with the gorgeous fuchsia MK bag! What a cutie pie!

Here’s another maxi outfit from this week. My new Studio M black maxi from Macy’s on sale here. (I tried on about 20 skirts at the mall last week and this one was the winner .. the right length and it has a nice flow).

A long boyfriend jacket is comfy addition and gives a little booty coverage if desired! (This one from Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s several years ago.)

I’ve had this H&M crochet cardigan for a couple of years and still love it for spring and summer. The lovely lace scarf was a present from a dear friend.

How do you like this Lanvin scarf? It was a thrift store find … $5!

Color-blocked Neutrals & New Riding Boots

I styled this outfit around my Oryany color-block handbag that is quickly becoming my favorite bag.

(Instead of Where’s Waldo, we could start playing Where’s Rox and Lucky in my photos!)

I went with Gap Always Skinnies, such a wardrobe staple for me. I added a black cowl neck sweater from INC and my ivory moto jacket to echo the colors in the purse.

I accessorized with mixed metal hoop earrings. And of course big sunnies!

I also was excited to style my new Nine West American Vintage riding boots, recently bought at an end of the season clearance at DSW. I love boots and always look for deals this time of year, but usually my size (7) sells out pretty quickly. I was thrilled to find this pretty pair! And love the way they look with my bag!

HIWM: Striped maxi skirt

This month’s challenge was styling a skirt. I found this black and white striped beauty at Marshall’s at the end of the summer last year. I’ve always worn it with sandals in warm weather, but decided to try it with boots and loved it!
