After my exciting first day at New York Fashion Week, I couldn’t wait to see what the evening would bring!

New York Fashion week usually means two outfits a day and I was super excited to wear my next look, by the talented designer, Bianca Zidik.  This was a very special outfit for me.

Did you ever see a designer’s collection and just know that if you ever met that person, you would adore them?  That’s how I felt when I saw emerging designer, Bianca Zidik’s collection at New York Fashion Week two years ago.  Bold orange and hot pink, fun 60’s mod feels, and “Hey There Georgie Girl” playing while the models walked.  So much FUN!

So, I haven’t actually met Bianca in person yet, but we’ve connected through Instagram and I was over the moon excited when she agreed to send me something to wear for fashion week!

I’m wearing this adorable little dress with all the funky I could muster, but won’t it also be cute with black leggings and a booties?  And how about over some black flared pants? And won’t the belt be chic with a black silk shirt?

Dinner at Pepolino’s

I started the evening with dinner at Pepolino’s with Kali of In Spades and her fabulous family. I had meet her wonderful photographer husband Matt before, but this time around I got to meet her mom, Debbie, along with the latest addition to the clan, Little Miss Eleven … a true beauty like her mom and grandma. I love how fashion friends become like family, and NYFW turns into a big reunion every year!  (Adorable restaurant, but bad lighting for photos.)

The Shopbop Diner

Then it was off to the Shopbop party with Laura Adney from Have Need Want.  Unfortunately somehow we ended up on EAST 14th instead of WEST 14th.  We’re blaming it on the Uber driver, though .. okay …hey, it could’ve been our mistake.  And since the addresses didn’t end up being anywhere near each other, it was a wait, and a long ride before we were actually ended up at the fun diner-themed party.  We only had time for some photos and a little chit chat before the party was closing down.  We did get fab goody bags though!
