Classic Fall Look – J.Jill Haley Textured Topper

Can you feel that crisp fall air?  We’re finally starting to feel it here in San Jose and I’m more than ready to start dressing for it!

J.Jill gave me this coat to review. All opinions are my own as always.

Sweater/Coat

This J.Jill Haley Textured Topper (c/o) is such a classy and comfortable coat.  It feels like a cozy sweater, but it looks like a classic wool tweed.  It’s a perfect neutral shade for fall … a tan/caramel with black trim.  I just bet I’ll be reaching for this to wear to work on many cool mornings this season.

Basics

Fall/winter basics for me always include a classic black turtleneck, as well as some straight leg jeans. Seriously I think I’ve had these two basics in my wardrobe for my whole entire life!  What can’t you live without?

Accessories

I added some elegant accessories like my new Cassia Jord Watch (read full review here) and my Alexa earrings from Kendra Scott Design Your Own.

Style Tips

A long cardigan can be cozy and actually flattering too!  This look would work well with warm boots when the weather gets colder.  And this topper would look great over a little black dress or chic trousers. Because of the texture, I would wear with sleek simple pieces, without a lot of volume.
