Summer Embroidered Tunic/Poncho

It’s almost summer! Oh okay, maybe we have another month until it officially starts … and we’ve been having unusually cold weather lately in San Jose… BUT I know summer is just around the corner and I’m getting my wardrobe ready for it!

I think every summer wardrobe needs a lightweight tunic top. This one from Chico’s is the perfect length and even cover my elbows, which I always appreciate! The linen and cotton fabric feels luxe and cool. It comes in a lovely orchid shade, as well as versatile white. It is a bit sheer, so I’m wearing a tank underneath. This tunic would make a cute swim cover up too. Hand washing is recommended.

I’m also wearing my Frame cropped flare jeans, favorites for every season this year. I added these clogs, which are as old as can be. I still love them, though they’re starting to look a little worse for the wear. I need to keep an eye out for some fabulous replacements,

I’m wearing my new “gyspy” earrings from Chico’s and the necklace is also Chico’s though no longer available. I’m carrying my raffia tote bag, Soft Surroundings from two seasons ago.

Are you getting any summer weather yet? I can’t believe that I’m preparing my finals for the school year … and wearing rain boots and a thick sweater while I’m doing it! No matter what the weather though, this teacher is on the final stretch of the school year and is super excited for summer!
