Foxcroft & Jewelry To Your Doorstep & Fun Fashion Friday Link Up!
July 21, 2016
I’ve always been envious of women in crisp white linen shirts. Not that I couldn’t style one, but who in the world has the time to iron? Certainly not a busy teacher like me! But now thanks to Foxcroft, I have the perfect crisp white linen shirt with NO IRONING REQUIRED!
Not only that, but I’m also sharing my new favorite go-with-everything-and-always-look-chic necklace from Jewelry To Your Doorstep! It’s the perfect way to tie in your various mixed metal jewelry with one perfect piece!
Out of all the fabulous Foxcroft shirts, I picked this long linen tunic. I figured it would look chic as a shirt and as a jacket.
I’ve always loved mixing gold, silver, and rose gold jewelry, probably because it was considered such a fashion no-no when I was younger. And even though you don’t have to have a mixed metal piece to pull it all together, I do think you need to make your mixed metals look done on purpose, you know? Having one perfect mixed metal piece is a chic way to do this.
Now I can’t wait to see what all my dolls have been wearing since I’ve been away! Please link up your style or beauty post and/or Instagram post and be sure to visit each other too. I’ll get back to picking favs next week for sure. Let the party begin!
Dawn Lucy, I hope you had a fabulous vacation! I am going to check out your vacation outfits post next! I love this white linen tunic. I love pretty much all tunics. But the way you styled it…simple, classic, sexy, sassy, gorgeous! And the mixed metal necklace is perfection! But I'm curious…does it get all tangled in itself? I have a few multi chain necklaces like this and those twist all up in themselves within a few minutes and it drives me bonkers!
Don't forget to link up On the Edge of the Week as well!
My multi-chain necklaces do that too! This one is better than most though. I had another one that I just gave away because it drove me crazy. I'll be over to link up for sure! OXOX
I am glad to hear that I am not the only one tormented by multi-chain necklaces! Thanks for linking up with me On the Edge of the Week. I hope you will join me again this week!
That may be one of my favorite outfits yet! So simple but at the same time makes such a statement! You can never go wrong with black and white for sure. Need the pants. Peace! Cheryl
I couldn't agree more in regards to ironing! I hate to iron, plus I am not very good at it! This white shirt looks incredibly chic on you! Thanks for hosting and have a fantastic weekend!
The white shirt is such a great basic for every woman…..doesn't it go with absolutely everything? But maybe I'll miss ironing—ha ha ha ha! Welcome back Dawn!! jodie http://www.jtouchofstyle.com
Dawn Lucy I adorrrrrrrrrrrre the simple black and white outfit – I'm a total lover of colour and pattern but this is super super chic, you've accessorised it to perfection!! And to find a non-iron shirt? That's your life complete, right there!! 😉
Thanks for hosting, my lovely – have yourself a fantastic weekend!
I love white shirts – they are so versatile! Especially in summer I am wearing them all the time. Your b&w look is so classy, Dawn Lucy – perfect with your sandals too!

I hate ironing too. It takes up so much time! But that is a very nice blouse! Hope to see you on Fancy Friday linkup! http://www.nancysfashionstyle.com
I remember as a teenager the rule was always to wear all gold or all silver jewellery, never to mix them, and now look how liberated we are mixing all the metals with abandon! I love this necklace, not only because of the mixed metals, but the length is perfect too. The non-iron shirt is a dream and I love that you've styled it two ways to prove it's versatility. Great post, and great link up party too. Thanks x Anna http://www.annasislandstyle.com
Love the chic simplicity of this Dawn. The layered mixed metal necklace is fabulous. I always mix metals and having it pre-done makes it so easy! Debbie http://www.fashionfairydust.com
You look so fresh and summery in your white top. I love the shoes and black trousers with it; it is chic and urban styled like that. The necklaces are lovely too! Thank you for hosting xx
I think ironing is a chore that needs to be relegated to the Dark Ages, dearest Dawn…which definitely makes this wrinkle-free linen shirt of yours a major fashion find!! The sleek and chic black and white combo you've created is SO on trend for summer…and your delicate mixed metal necklace?? Truly the perfect finishing touch!! XOXO P.S. Happy to hear that you and your hubby had such an awesome time in LA…and very happy to have you back in the blogosphere, too!! 🙂
What fabulously versatile shirt Dawn Lucy and I just love your necklace. It's so pretty. Thank you very much for hosting and have a lovely weekend, love Lizzy xxx
