My fashion week adventures ended with the big rewardStyle party at The Bowery Hotel.
RewardStyle is the company that acts as the go between for bloggers and brands. Invitations are based on performance and it’s always an honor to get invited.
I started getting ready for the party and got a text from my friend Laura (@lauraadney) that the stylists at Searchlight Studios were doing free hair and make up. As I made my way there, I was thinking that soft goddess-like curls would look really pretty with my gauze dress. Unfortunately by the time I got there it was too late to squeeze in an appointment. But I’m still glad I went to see the cool set up they had going on there!

Of course now I had in my mind that I had to have goddess hair for my goddess dress and so I went and got it done at a local salon. That would’ve been fine except coming out of the place I got turned around and got lost and it started to sprinkle!
Luckily I stopped a random lady for directions and she was nice enough to let me know that the only thing in the direction I was headed was the on ramp for the freeway! I made it back to the hotel with some curl left! I did my own make up, and then shared an Uber to The Bowery Hotel with Jenny (@thesensibleshopaholic) and Karen (@karenkocich).
At the party I was super happy to see my Bay Area girls there representing: Kat of KatWalkSF, Sarah of Sassy Red Lipstick, and Tamryn of Wannabe Fashion Blogger. I also so enjoyed making new friends like Emily of Accessories Gal, Liz of The New York Stylist and Lauryn of Lauryn Cakes.
We made fun videos, got pics on the rewardStyle swing, and then boogied down a bit on the dance floor. It was the perfect end to a fabulous three days in NYC.
My Outfit
I found my dress for the party on the Nordstrom Rack website. You never know what gems you might find there and it’s always worth taking a look!
Soft Surroundings gave me these cool Half Moon Tortoise Earrings and Sea Lily Tortoise Clutch to compliment my look. And I wore my super comfy Jambu shoes which was perfect for an evening of dancing.

And sadly I think this ends my NYFW coverage, though I might go back and do my in depth reviews on some of my favorite shows. Spring/Summer19 is looking fabulous, Ladies! I know we are barely dipping our toe into Autumn/Winter18, but it’s fun to look ahead too!
