Today I’m 57! What a trip! The years fly by, don’t they? And I’ve had my burdens, but mostly I’ve had an amazing journey so far! And I’m truly looking forward to what comes next!
Sometimes I wonder what younger Dawn would think of 57 year old me. But in my 20’s, I’m not sure that I thought much about being in my 50’s at all. And if I did, I thought I’d be a sweet little old lady by now. Which I guess I kinda am. And it’s not a bad thing to be! I’m looking forward to the years ahead. I have lots of retirement dreams!
This is what a wore for a fun sushi birthday lunch and some shopping time with my buddy Rachel. I will celebrate with my hubby tonight and I’m pretty sure I’ll find a way to stretch it into a weekend celebration as well.
I’m working on my What to Pack for Alaska post and hopefully I’ll have that to share with you next week.

Happy birthday Dawn Lucy. Yes, the older one gets the more the time flies. It’s because one can look back on more years than one could when one was a kid.
