To celebrate our 12 year anniversary, Shannon and I spent the day in Sausalito. The weather was spring perfection and we really enjoyed walking around, checking out the swanky boats, pretty houses, and cute boutiques. We ate lunch at the Barrel House which was yummy, with great service and beautiful views.

I wore my polka dot dress, the one I wore styled for winter in this post, but this time around the weather cooperated for a spring styling. With the dress, I wore my new Jambu sandals (totally comfy for all the walking we did), a stretch denim jacket, and a straw hat and bag. Oh, and I added a cute four leaf clover necklace from Kendra Scott. We were married on St Patty’s Day, so it’s always extra special for us!
Are you getting any spring weather yet? What are you wearing this spring?
Fun & Fashion,

About the blog: Fashion Should Be Fun is me talking to you, other middle aged women like me who are over 40, but not over fashion. We still want to look beautiful and stylish. We still want to have fun with trends. And we don’t need anyone giving us rules, because we’re all different. We all have our own shapes and bodies, parts we’d like to cover and parts we still don’t mind showing off a bit. This is a place for me to share my love of fashion with you, style ideas, tips, trends, and inspiration. I know how liking the way we look can translate into confidence and energy. I know we have so much life left to live and so much adventure ahead of us. Let’s show the world you’re never too old to have fun and be fierce!
Hi Dawn, congrats to you two! Looking so happy and relaxed. What a beautiful place to spend the day exploring and enjoying each other’s company.
Still waiting for real spring weather here in the Midwest-crazy winter. Rollover coaster we call it!
But not letting cold weather stop us from dreams of spring! Been continuing the closet and house sorting and purging. It’s a process and takes time. Between the donations and the trips to the consignment stores we are making progress.
Here’s to wearing sandals, sunnies and summer togs. 😎
Hope you have a lovely Easter weekend. And I think we can officially say Happy Spring!
Aww thank you SO SO much! We just had a cold spell here, but this week we should be getting spring weather. It’s so hit and miss this time of year. And yes, simplifying takes time! I feel like I’ve done so much, but I still have a lot to do!
Take care and thanks so much for stopping by the blog!! 😀
