Here are a few of my favorite places to enjoy a civilized and pretty cup of coffee in downtown San Jose.
Nirvana Soul
The atmosphere is totally charming with a hot pink logo and the coolest mural. The staff at Nirvana Soul is especially warm and welcoming. Be sure to make your way upstairs to the cute loft space. All the pastries are delicious and they make my favorite cappuccino.

Voyager Coffee
I love the decor at Voyager Coffee. Part of the space is a bar in the evening and so there’s just plenty of room and you can choose to sit on a couch, at a table, or at a bar table. And for some reason, I’ve always been a fan of interior bricks. Along with great coffee, Voyager has the #1 yummiest coffee cake!
Voltaire
Simple and pretty, fab coffee and treats. Sit at the bar by the window for the best photo lighting and have fun watching the world go by.
