This outfit has a few of my favorite things, like this Lucky Brand Utility jacket that never goes out of style. It’s great for a day of teaching, a weekend outing, and I almost always bring it with me when I travel!
Here I am wearing it with my favorite V-neck tee (this one though they’re out of this color, so I’ll also link this pretty one). My barrel jeans are a new favorite and we’ll see how they stand the test of time. I definitely feel ultra cool when I wear them! I added my burgundy boots, a chain necklace, and my favorite sunglasses. This was a quick pic before school, so I didn’t have my bag, but I would suggest this leather one or this spring tote.
It’s always a good reminder to myself and my readers to shop your closet first and mix and match items you already have in new ways. Shop for new things when you see that you have some holes in your wardrobe. The new pieces should fit in with what you have and make everything work together even better!
