This is what a wore for a fun day for dog walking and furniture shopping with my husband.

As much as I’m excited about fall, and fall clothes, and fall weather, and fall goodies … it’s still summer and it’s still hot! This is what I wore for a fun day with the hubby. First we walked the dog to get coffee. And the we went to Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto to look for furniture. We aren’t buying furniture right now, but we’re thinking about furnishing our retirement home that we hope to buy soon and thought it would be fun to check out what’s available. If you’re in the Bay Area, Stanford is a great place to look for furniture: there’s Crate and Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn and Arhaus. And of course all the Bay Area fashionistas already know it’s a great place to shop for clothes too!
Well, for this hot day, I wore my NYDJ denim vest, with my NYDJ side panel jeans. (Size down one size in each). I also wore my Lonza Bergen sandals and boy, did I give them a tough comfort test: first a dog walk and then a full day of shopping, shopping, and shopping!
