When I modeled for Ruti at the end of last month, I got to pick out three pieces to come home with me. This is what I picked, why, and what I think of each piece!
Shop the Look:
While the cool navy and black brushstroke print does not show up in these photos, all you have to do it check out the print on the Ruti website to see it well. I love a subtle print that wears like black, but adds some extra depth and interest. This skirt is just so cool. I love the architectural quality of it. Homerun! I loved the print so much that I also brought home these super comfortable pants.
The denim jacket is super special because first of all, it’s stretchy fabric, which I LOVE! To add even more of a coolness factor, the denim is blue and black mixed. Also the bottom hem is staggered for a unique look. I love Ruti’s designs for all these extra little details!
Get a better look at these pieces and see how they move on my latest Instagram reel.
ICYMI, here’s the original post about my experience modeling for Ruti.
Also on the blog lately, my picks from Everlane’s Fall 22 collection and the perfect slipper/sandal for a festive and cozy holiday gift!
Fun & Fashion,
About the blog: Fashion Should Be Fun is me talking to you, other middle aged women like me who are over 40, but not over fashion. We still want to look beautiful and stylish. We still want to have fun with trends. And we don’t need anyone giving us rules, because we’re all different. We all have our own shapes and bodies, parts we’d like to cover and parts we still don’t mind showing off a bit. This is a place for me to share my love of fashion with you, style ideas, tips, trends, and inspiration. I know how liking the way we look can translate into confidence and energy. I know we have so much life left to live and so much adventure ahead of us. Let’s show the world you’re never too old to have fun and be fierce!
