I’m a sucker for ponchos. If I had more time this week, I’d dig out a pic of me as a kid in my crochet poncho look, circa 1975. You’ll just have to use your imagination. And don’t forget to make it a 70s-rific brown, rust, and mustard!
But anyway, here’s my grown up version. Love this cozy poncho that has been hanging in my closet for so long that I forget where it comes from.
This month’s How I Wear My theme was ponchos and wraps, so I have two looks to share.
This one was a fun find from eShakti.
I’m ready for fall … now if the California weather would just cooperate!

You Sweetheart!!!! Thank you for featuring my post from last week!! You make me tickled pink!! Talk about Pretty in Ponchos!! Look at you! I love both of these. One Casual and One Sophisticated!! Both = Perfection!! Happy weekending lovely lady!!
I really love the gray poncho with the contrasting black trim! I also have a photo from the 70's of me in an orange ad white crochet poncho. My grandmother is in the picture with me and she is wearing a blue crochet shawl, which I still have! I am planning a post wearing that shawl!!! I also need the weather to cooperate!
Love both of them and you look very stylish wearing both of them! I am also showing a poncho on my blog today, check it out 🙂 Nora http://www.jacketsociety.com
As you know, "boho-inspired" is one of my go-to looks, dearest Dawn…so how is it that I don't yet own a single poncho?! After seeing you in your two fabulous versions, I think I'll be rectifying that particular situation ASAP!! So adorable!! XOXO
I would love to have a poncho for this winter season. Let's see if I manage to find one that inspires me all the way thought 😉
You are looking great in both those outfits, I do like the flared boho version a bit better as that's more my own current vibe. Have a wonderful weekend!
Great looks! I love the flared jeans too with the hip poncho you look so tall in the photos! The cape looks amazing and so cozy as well! xx jess http://www.elegantlydressedandstylish.com
These are both such wonderful ponchos. I love how you have styled them! I am definitely looking at adding one or two to my closet this season. It's been tricky to find one that doesn't swallow me whole… Thanks for linking up with Fabulous Friday!

I've chosen either you or Mel to mimic in my next incarnation. I'd love to know what it is like to be tall and slim and elegant! You are, here and everywhere you go. Excellent light fall covers to go all season where you are, I'll bet! Great turn out for your link … someday I'll make it!
Thanks for linking up to Top of the World Style. Your poncho makes me want one too. By the way, thanks once more for hosting the giveaway. The bracelet is just awesome.

Those ponchos look great on you. I've tried a couple on, but I'm fairly short, so they seem to just seem to feel too big on me.
I think I had a similar brown striped poncho back in 1975! Both of these poncho's are fab! I love the tassels on the black one!
