I’m a sucker for ponchos. If I had more time this week, I’d dig out a pic of me as a kid in my crochet poncho look, circa 1975. You’ll just have to use your imagination. And don’t forget to make it a 70s-rific brown, rust, and mustard!
But anyway, here’s my grown up version. Love this cozy poncho that has been hanging in my closet for so long that I forget where it comes from.
This month’s How I Wear My theme was ponchos and wraps, so I have two looks to share.
This one was a fun find from eShakti.
I’m ready for fall … now if the California weather would just cooperate!
Several adorable hat looks from last week’s link up ….

I really love the gray poncho with the contrasting black trim! I also have a photo from the 70's of me in an orange ad white crochet poncho. My grandmother is in the picture with me and she is wearing a blue crochet shawl, which I still have! I am planning a post wearing that shawl!!! I also need the weather to cooperate!
Can't wait to see that post! 🙂
Love how you have styled the ponchos . Very rock chic and fab. Thanks for hosting

Thanks Amy Ann! 🙂
Love both of them and you look very stylish wearing both of them! I am also showing a poncho on my blog today, check it out 🙂
I'll be by to check that out for sure! 🙂
Those ponchos look great on you. I've tried a couple on, but I'm fairly short, so they seem to just seem to feel too big on me.
I think I had a similar brown striped poncho back in 1975! Both of these poncho's are fab! I love the tassels on the black one!
Doused In Pink
Hee .. I bet that was adorable! Thanks for stopping by, Jill! 🙂
I think ponchos add immediate flair to an outfit. I love the fringe poncho with the flare jeans, so 70s!
Thanks Cynthia! 🙂
I remember the poncho of the 70's well. My mom use to knit them for me 🙂
I hope you kept one of them! 😀 OXOX
Love your ponchos!
Thanks AMy! 🙂
As you know, "boho-inspired" is one of my go-to looks, dearest Dawn…so how is it that I don't yet own a single poncho?! After seeing you in your two fabulous versions, I think I'll be rectifying that particular situation ASAP!! So adorable!! XOXO
I'm in shock that you're poncho-less Girl! ;P !!
I would love to have a poncho for this winter season. Let's see if I manage to find one that inspires me all the way thought 😉
You are looking great in both those outfits, I do like the flared boho version a bit better as that's more my own current vibe. Have a wonderful weekend!

Jennie – A Pocketful of Polka Dots
Got to get back on the Link Up circuit! I love your ponchos, especially the fringe one. They are such an effortless, but oh so stylish look. Great post.
I've chosen either you or Mel to mimic in my next incarnation. I'd love to know what it is like to be tall and slim and elegant! You are, here and everywhere you go. Excellent light fall covers to go all season where you are, I'll bet! Great turn out for your link … someday I'll make it!
Thanks for linking up to Top of the World Style. Your poncho makes me want one too. By the way, thanks once more for hosting the giveaway. The bracelet is just awesome.
Oh I love your black poncho! I am in the process of finding a new one for my closet as we speak!
All about the fringe!! 🙂
