NYFW: Friday – Florals, Polka Dots & a Rooftop

My New York Fashion Week Friday started with breakfast and a walk around Tribeca in this pretty floral print sleeveless dress from Chico’s. I’m loving the different but complimentary prints. Cool enough to wear now, and it will look great with a sweater or blazer when the fall weather gets here. (Photos by @whiteteeblackdress)

 

 

 

Then it was time to go to the rewardStyle Headquarters rooftop party.  RewardStyle created a haven from the NYFW rush with snacks, drinks, a breathtaking view, and a wonderful professional photographer. I knew I wanted to pull out my most dramatic look for this rooftop gathering.

At the gathering, I meet some really sweet bloggers, including Jenny of The Sensible Shopaholic.  We chatted over lattes with our photos on them!  That’s a new one!!

 

Next I met the sweet and beautiful Miss Kelly Ann of @BelleHaute for an iced tea.  Again there are people that you know from fashion week only and except for some back and forth on social media, you only see them twice a year. That’s my relationship with Kelly Ann, but as always we picked up right where we left off  and could have talked for hours. Together we went to see the Fashion Palette show. Fashion Palette is a an Australian agency that puts on a group runway show each NYFW.

My camera was starting to act up here, but at least I got a couple of good shots. Loved these 70’s vibe looks from @bronxandbanco!

Then it was on to Spring Studios for the rest of the evening … for some fabulous fashion, powerful statements, and of course a few celebrity sightings. Stay tuned!
