We’re finally getting a bit of fall weather here in San Jose, off and on anyway! I was excited to pull out some fall favorites and play with rich fall colors and textures in this outfit for a morning coffee with my buddy Lynn and a day of teaching.

To me, nothing says fall like a classic camel wool coat mixed with some animal prints and textures. I love this leopard cashmere turtleneck (similar) that was a Christmas present from my husband one year. I added my favorite croc embossed accessories, my Strathberry tote in rich caramel (c/o) and ankle boots in olive green. Wide leg jeans update the otherwise classic look.
Try adding some texture to an outfit with a croc-embossed bag and/or shoes in rich fall shades. Or add suede, tweed, or a chunky knit … these tactile treats will cozy-up your fall fit. You can match something else you’re wearing or you can add in a new color as long as it has the same feel. The green boots work here because they echo the fall shades in the rest of the outfit. This is the time of year to add a touch of fall fabulousness, whether the weather is cooperating or not!
Lynn and I tried a new coffee and tea place close to our school, Bobaholics. We were there too early for boba, but had some yummy iced coffee drinks. Isn’t it a cute spot?
Lynn always looks pretty! I love her houndstooth blouse (here’s a chic option) and her perfect-for-teaching heels.
And as always, we had lots of giggles, taking pics and being goofballs!
