On Day 3 on New York Fashion Week, I was excited to wear this cool Jeremy Scott sweater with a message I believe in, “Keep Fashion Weird” …. What’s that mean to me? Just that fashion should be individual and creative. I hate seeing bloggers look like clones of each other. Oh sure, we all get ideas from each other, but I like to see a personality shine through in our style choices!

Photo: A big thanks to Denton Taylor for these first two photos!
On Day 3 of New York Fashion Week, I had a full and exciting day planned, starting with two of my favorite shows every season Taoray Wang and Son Jung Wan! Those two shows never disappoint. And it was on my way to my first show that my photo was taken for The Cut’s Street Style Round Up.
Before NYFW, Cathy of Bay Area Fashionista and I were sharing our outfits and we realized that we both had funky black, white, and hot pink looks and decided to wear them on the same day. After both attending Son Jung Wan, we met up for lunch and walking to the restaurant we got stopped by street photographers for photos. Always so fun! Sometimes you never get to see those photos, but luckily for us, Allnycee Photography reached out and shared these photos with us. (A big thanks to Allnycee Photography … photos added below.)
Next we were off to the studios at Chelsea Piers for two group shows. These shows are always a bit of a mixed bag. It’s super fun to see new designers, but it’s also usually a long and crowded show. After that I had one more show to power through before NYFW came to a close for me, the Asia Collection. It was a fabulous show, full of inspiration. And to make it even more fun, I sat with and befriended the sweetest young gal. NYFW is always a chance to make friends who share your passions!
