I’ve always loved the idea of shirtdresses, but haven’t had a lot of luck getting the fit just right. Usually they’re too short and too clingy around the hips. But I’m so happy to report J. Jill’s Linen Shirtdress is knee-length and skims my curves just right!
J Jill carries petite, tall, and plus sizes, so you have lots of options to get the fit right. (I’m wearing a misses small and I’m 5’7″ and a size 4/6). This versatile wardrobe staple can be worn belted or loose, with the sleeves down or rolled up with a tab, and it can even be worn as shirt/jacket! It is 100% linen and is machine washable. I like my linen lightly steamed for a more relaxed look, but of course you can iron it for a crisp look as well. The shirtdress has mother of pearl buttons, topstitched trim, a shirttail hemline, and on-seam pockets (yay pockets!) Like all J. Jill pieces, it’s a high quality classic that you’ll be wearing for years to come.
