Simple Denim Weekend Look

May 19, 2020

Here’s another simple weekend look.  I really wanted to wear my R13 denim shirt again and it’s easy to style with any pair of jeans.

If you remember, this R13 shirt was a sale find recently.  I’m really trying to make a point of buying things that I’ll wear several ways and wear many times.  Do you try to do that too?

Hey, I notice that my tummy is showing in the pics which was not my intention. I have to remember to tie this shirt lower!  When I just stand in front of the mirror that length is perfect, but when I walk around obviously it rides up.

Like this big crown? Ha!  Sometimes it’s fun to drive around and take photos places that are usually crowded and now are empty.

So this is a really simple outfit idea.  Put on a chambray shirt and tie it at the waist over a pair of jeans.  Add some Converse sneakers for the cool factor and a crossbody bag for convenience. Viola … effortless weekend outfit!

I really don’t have much to say today, Dear Readers.  Virtual teaching kept me darn busy today and even though it’s much easier than teaching in person, I’m still really looking forward to my summer break!

Also on the blog lately: the perfect black utility jumpsuit, my tomboy look, and a discussion about oversized dresses!

Stay well, Friends!
