This month the Fab 40’s share their take on the embroidery trend.
Lots of cool embroidery looks in the runway lately, from subtle to wild!
I picked up this funky vest in a local thrift store. It’s something that I wouldn’t have looked at twice a couple of months ago, but with this new trend, I thought it worked for a boho-rific vibe.
The Free People jacket that inspired me …
(also in shopping links) …
Looking forward to layering this vest with a flowy maxi skirt and crochet-ish something in the spring.

This is such a great look on you!
I just commented on Ann's post and said that I didn't have any embroidered items, but then I remembered embroidered clogs that are tugged away somewhere… I'll have to dig them out soon!
I don't own any embroidered pieces but I think they are so pretty!

So many different looks for the theme! I love embroidered pieces. I don't have that many at the moment – maybe I need to get my needles out. Your vest is an excellent channelling of the jacket. Isn't it a gorgeous jacket? Thanks so much for sharing – found your post at Not Dressed as Lamb!

What a lovely find. I do adore embroidery and unique pieces.
I love your vest. Can't wait to see your pairing vision for spring. 😀
I'm inspired to bring out my embroidered pieces again thanks to all you lovely ladies. I'm seriously loving your bag too – it's wonderful!

You are rocking that fun embroidered vest and I love love the denim flares, Dawn Lucy. =)
Love the vest and I'm eager to see your warmer weather style for it. I'm a huge fan of embellishments and embroidery. Most of my sweaters and tops have one or the other.
Beautiful vest. Its embroidery is uncommon. You look great on it.
That vest is amazing!! Thank you for being a part of TBT Fashion link up and hope to see you soon!

I love the look of your vest – the embroidery is absolutely amazing! And it looks like it should be able to be used across multiple seasons.
