Cool, Casual Look & Girl Time Shenanigans

I love a cool, casual look, something that looks chic but without trying too hard.  That’s so California, I guess, right? Anyway, this outfit got thrown together at the last minute, but I really loved it.  I wore it for a fun girl afternoon of lunch and shopping with Cathy of Bay Area Fashionista.

Easy Spirit sent me these new slides and they’re wonderful … easy to style and comfortable.  I’m also wearing this shoulder pad tank that I got last summer, with my Everlane distressed jeans, and Kendra Scott chunky hoop earrings.  And I always feel more pulled together when I wear my YSL bag!  (All links in Shop this Look above.)

Cathy and I met our local mall and we couldn’t resist photos by this cool old van there. While we were taking pics of each other a nice young man offered to take a photo of both of us. Don’t you love nice people?  I added in one photo of us where we are laughing, because that’s mostly what we do together!

       

 

 

   

Can you believe school is starting next week?  I have a million of things on my mind about going back, but on a lighter note, I sure will miss weekday lunch and shopping dates with the girls!
