Did you know that Hot Girl Summer is being followed by Horse Girl Fall this year?!! That’s what I’ve heard the Equestrian trend called and I think it’s so cute. So when Banana Republic asked me to pick out a couple of pieces, I had to choose this well-made riding vest, along with an absolutely dreamy ruffled skirt!

To be perfectly honest, I didn’t choose these two pieces to go together. I pictured the skirt with a tie-waist white blouse and the vest with a turtleneck, jeans, and riding boots! But … I couldn’t help but try them together and I love how this look turned out!
Solstice Ramie Midi Skirt
The Solstice Ramie Midi Skirt calls me to adventure and romance! The pintucks and rows of shirring give this a dreamy silhouette. Wear with a white tank or blouse and sandals now for late summer and then try it with some knee high suede boots and a sweater for fall. The shell is 100% ramie and the lining is 100% cotton. Machine washable. Runs slightly big.
The Riding Vest
This chic little vest is full of surprises, like multiple pockets, and a pinstriped lining. Wear with a tank top now and over a turtleneck sweater when the weather cools. You can adjust the tab in back to tighter or loosen the fit. Machine washable and fits true to size.
