Another exciting collection I got to experience during New York Fashion Week was the Francesca Liberatore show.
I was really looking forward to this show because I remember falling in love with her Fall/Winter collection at the February shows. No I wasn’t there in person in February, but I did watch the show live online! The Spring/Summer 18 collection has a different feel, of course, but it’s beautiful as well. I was particularly inspired by the brocade and lace looks.
If you’re not familiar with Francesca Libertore, she is a designer who graduated from design school in London and went on to work with some of the most prestigious fashion houses. In 2009, Liberatore won the the Next Generation contest at Milan Fashion Week and her reputation skyrocketed from there. Liberatore has an international following. She teaches desgin in Italy and shows her creations all over the globe, In 2014, Francesca won the DHL Exported award and got a chance to partner with IMG and show at New York FAshion Week. Liberatore has been a regular NYFW designer ever since.
All photos are my own from the show.
