Alexander Wang Roxy Bucket Bag Review

Aww, there’s just something about a girl and her bag.  And this cool little beauty was my happy 2018 present to myself.

 

The Alexander Wang Roxy Bucket Bag

I had never seen the exact Roxy bucket bag in person before I ordered it, so when it showed up at my PO box I was hoping that it would live up to the hype in my own mind.  And it definitely did!  Gorgeous quality leather,  cool chain detailing, and a chic bucket silhouette … it was perfect!  It even had extras like the cute little attached wallet, which I was especially grateful for because my large overstuffed wallet won’t fit well in this bag.  And the crossbody strap will come in handy during fashion week, while I’m carrying my purse and my camera bag … and also probably on my phone and chatting to a blogger buddy all at the same time!

 

My Outfit

I think the smart little details elevate this simple white shirt and black jeans look to something a bit more special.  Loving the high-low hem and oversized cuffs on this white shirt. (Sale alert:  this exact shirt is now on clearance, plus an extra 50% off!). Also if you’re a regular around here, you’ve seen these raw-edge cropped black jeans many times before.  I love how the chain detail and the studs on the boots give a little nod to my inner rocker chick, while still looking elegant.  And to top off the look, I pulled out my satin Mac lipstick in Cyber (a purple-black color, not for the fashion faint of heart).
