Aqua Dresses – Dressing Room Diaries

Here is my latest attempt at dressing room diaries!  Bloomingdale’s has their own brand called Aqua. Have you heard of it? I was looking for some pretty dresses that looked fresh, good for the summer-to-fall transition, and were high quality, but not too pricey. These Aqua dresses fit the bill!

In this first photo, I’m wearing an Abstract Print Dress. It looked like a blue leopard print to me. What do you think?

Warning: the photos throughout this post are not very good and certainly not flattering.  But hopefully you can look past that to see some very pretty dresses! Also, I forgot to bring heels, so the sale clerk lent me these which were frankly not too pretty, and definitely WAY too big. Still, I have to admit, they looked much better with the dresses than the Clarks Cloud Steppers that I wore to the mall that day!

 

This beautiful Ruffled Floral Maxi Dress would be perfect for a summer wedding.  I thought the extra ruffles on the bottom made it a little fancy for teaching. What do you think?

Love the fall colors in this Floral Print Smocked Midi Dress! The smocked waist and necklace were extra flattering.

Loved that dress so much that I tried it on in this blue floral as well. Which print/color do you like best?

 

The extra ruffle on the shoulder is a wonderful detail for pear shapes who like to try to balance proportions when they dress. I also liked the sleeves and the length of this Printed Long Sleeve Midi Dress.

 

 

If you like a smock style with no waistline, this Paisley Midi Dress is for you!  You can always belt it when you DO feel like having a waist!

 

Do you think any of these dresses would work with my wonderful new Ally heels? Or my comfy knit sneakers? Or these Monaco sandals? I actually really love midi dresses with ankle boots, so I can’t wait for fall to start wearing that pairing again!
