Sometimes just a small tweak here and there can make an outfit look fresh and on trend. Keep reading for my list of small changes you can make with pieces already in your closet for spring 25!

My list:
- Change your no-show socks to ankle socks. A cute little lettuce edge is a trendy choice and I found a 6 pack for a steal. You can also just use the ankle socks you have in your drawer.
- Add a baseball cap. It’s a cute and fresh look right now. Wear what you have in your closet, or get something new. It’s a small investment that packs a stylish punch.
- Try cuffing your wide-leg and bootcut jeans for a different look. Sure you could buy some already cuffed, but actually you don’t need new jeans. Use what you have!
- Add tones of brown to your spring/summer look. You probably have caramel or chocolate brown pieces in your closet that you usually think to wear in the fall, but brown is having such a moment, why don’t you try to pull out some of those items to mix into your rotation right now?

Any of these ideas appeal to you at all? Let me know!
Also on the blog lately, a linen trench coat and BA&SH for spring 25.

About the blog: Fashion Should Be Fun is me talking to you, other middle aged women like me who are over 40, but not over fashion. We still want to look beautiful and stylish. We still want to have fun with trends. And we don’t need anyone giving us rules, because we’re all different. We all have our own shapes and bodies, parts we’d like to cover and parts we still don’t mind showing off a bit. This is a place for me to share my love of fashion with you, style ideas, tips, trends, and inspiration. I know how liking the way we look can translate into confidence and energy. I know we have so much life left to live and so much adventure ahead of us. Let’s show the world you’re never too old to have fun and be fierce!
